Variety of grapes

60% Chardonnay 20% Pinot Noir 20% Ribolla Gialla

Harvest period

From mid-September. The harvest is carried out entirely by hand in boxes. It is harvested only in the coolest hours of the day in order to maintain the integrity and the optimal temperature for the bunches.

Vineyard/Soil

Vineyard located in the town of Piedimonte in the municipality of Gorizia on shallow, marly soils at an altitude of 100 m above sea level. Located at the foot of Mount Calvario, with south-east exposure, it benefits from a significant temperature range given by the setting of the sun behind the mountain already in the early hours of the afternoon.

This change in temperature makes it possible to obtain a more intense sparkling wine with a non-raw acidity.
